About Me

My story began by touching lives through music, then turned into a love for helping people. I wanted to start a business and transform a passion into something more.

Iā€™m a creative at heart who grew up immersed in the art of the clarinet and piano. From a young age, the music world taught me the importance of collaboration and the necessity of organization.

Fueled by this passion, I pursued a degree in clarinet performance and closely studied the nonprofit industry, honing my craft and delving deeper into the intricacies of the creative world. Even though I decided leading the life of a professional musician was not for me, my journey didn't stop there.

Upon graduating, I transitioned into the realm of arts administration and discovered a newfound love for providing essential support to passionate individuals dedicated to their creative missions. Over the last 5 years as an administrative and executive assistant, I've had the privilege of utilizing my nonprofit industry knowledge and innate organizational abilities to facilitate the realization of impactful projects and initiatives.

Beyond the realm of the arts, I have a fervent passion for supporting small and local businesses, recognizing their vital role in nurturing vibrant communities like the one I call home, Richmond, Virginia.  Additionally, my experience in the non-profit sector has afforded me the opportunity to offer indispensable assistance to busy executives and business owners striving to make an impact in the community.

My journey from musician to administrative professional  has been one of growth, learning, and a deepened appreciation for the necessity of collaborative support in fostering creativity and innovation. I am eager to continue leveraging my skills and experience to empower others in their pursuit of meaningful endeavors, and I would love to work with you.
